Baby Mine

"Baby Mine"
material: watercolor on paper, A4

inspired by "Dumbo"

„Liebes Kind“

Liebes Kind, weine nicht
wenn das Herz mir auch bricht
schmieg Dich an, ich bin für dich da
ich bin Dir nah, mein liebes Kind

Deine Mutter bewacht
Dich bei Tag und bei Nacht
droht Gefahr, eile geschwind
nur zu mir her, mein liebes Kind

Du bist süß und noch klein
ich will lieb zu Dir sein sei vergnügt, niedlicher Spatz
du bist mein Schatz, mein liebes Kind

"Baby Mine"

Baby mine, don't you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
Never to part, baby of mine.

Little one, when you play,
Pay no heed what they say.
Let your eyes sparkle and shine,
Never a tear, baby of mine.

From your head down to your toes,
You're not much, goodness knows.
But, you're so precious to me,
Sweet as can be, baby of mine.

Kindlein klein, schlaf süß ein,
du sollst nie traurig sein
denn nun hüllt Dich Liebe ein
ich bin bei Dir, schlaf Kindlein klein

Jeden Tag froh erwach
sorg Dich nicht, Liebling lach
lass Dein Herz fröhlich stets sein
ich denk an Dich, mein Kindlein klein

Mich erfreut jeder Blick
denn Du bist all mein Glück
könnt nie mehr ohne Dich sein
lieb Dich allein, Kindlein klein

Supportive Dad

materials: coloured pencil and pastel chalk on paper, A4
time: 2 hours

Supportive Dad teaches the skills his kid will need for life and waits patiently for his child to succeed on his own. And without pampering or spoiling the child, he is always there to offer unconditional love and encouragement. And should his kid fall on his back, supportive dad will always catch him.

This one I did for my husband, for he is an amazing father.
