Inktober 2016 Day 2 -Noisy

Day 2 Inktober Challenge-Noisy
Ink on Paper A4
So that prompt was really easy for me!
I immediately thought of my wonderful, yet pretty noisy family.
Though my husband is very gifted and plays beautifully, my two toddlers do their best to imitate their parents and try out our various instruments. Usually first leading to three people playing at the same time, which is immediately followed by the fight over the most desirable instrument (usually being either the piano or the drums).

So I enjoyed this day very much (even if the inking isn´t perfect)

Inktober Challenge 2016 Day One -Fast

The prompt for day one was "Fast". So I thougt about how fast autumn was arriving and how quickly the leaves are turning and falling.

My Way of Coloring with Colored Pencils

This is my way of coloring. I made it for DeviantArt, but somehow the blog can´t handle the formatting, so here I posted all the indivudual pictures... And Blogspot still displays blurry pictures... I am sorry...

Reading Infant

Reading Infant

Pencil on Paper, A4

This is a drawing I started in 2014 but never finished until I picked it up now.

It is still very hard for me to draw people! I can manange realistic objects and manga or chibi versions, but the realistic drawing of a baby...

I think as a drawing of an infant it´s not so bad, but it still doesn´t look like the original child. You know what I mean? From this picture you could hardly tell whether this is actually my son (from whom the original photo was taken) or just any other baby.

Well... yesterday I posted a picture titled "Your Worst Critic is Yourself" and I guess that is true.

I would very much appreciate criticism and just about any tip on how to get better!
